Eternity: The Last Unicorn is an upcoming roleplaying game being developed by Void Studios and published by 1C Entertainment. It was released March 5, 2019 on PC and PlayStation 4. It will be released for Xbox One later in 2019.

Fully featured RPG with classic game mechanics and an extensive lore based on Norse mythology. The Elves were once given four Unicorns by the Holy Goddess and these became part of the elves. But as the unicorns were taken away and cursed by witchcraft, the elves’ sole existence became endangered. Lead Aurehen, a young pure Elf on her quest to free the last Unicorn that has survived. Travel through mesmerizing locations, meet fantasy characters and fight to protect Elven immortality. Pursue Eternity!

Plot[ | ]

Back in a remote past when the first elves reached the Reign of Alfheim, a heavenly and glorious power struck down upon them. The Holy Goddess Marea gave them four unicorns, the legendary animals had become a part of the elves. They would suffer as well when something bad happened to them. It was an incredible and unimaginable power passing down through generations.

One night, the Unicorns were suddenly taken away by witchcraft and for the first time in that era the elves feared for their immortality. Miraculously, one of the Unicorns had survived. He had been found by the Fairies, cursed by witchcraft and with a damaged horn.

The elves, afraid of the cursem handed him over to a pure young Elf, whom, according to the elderly scrolls, would be the only one able to touch the Unicorn and free him and the elves from the curse. And that is how the pursuit of Eternity began.

In a land destroyed by a curse, the young elf, Aurehen, is called upon to save the last unicorn and restore peace to the Reign of Alfheim. According to the ancient scrolls, only Aurehen can touch the Unicorn and free him and the elves from this evil curse.

With the support of Bior, a Viking searching for his missing troops, Aurehen will explore the large and beautiful realm of Vanaheim, a universe and culture inspired by Nordic folklore. Meet friends and defeat evil monsters to seal your fate... The time has come to claim Eternity.

  • The game is rated for ages:
Due to violence.
  • The gameplay is around 12 hours long.[1][2] The game is linear, but it has hidden locations and optional paths as well.[3]
  • An option for a more casual difficulty is being considered.[4]
  • The developers are considering adding a discord for the game.[5]
  • Characters do not heal over time. This was a choice to balance the game and make healing items important.
You can also farm healing items and regain health by killing enemies as well.[6]
  • You are currently unable to customize the controls.[7]
  • There is no option to change the FPS at the moment. There are several options for antialiasing, but it can not be disabled.[8]
  • The highest resolution supported is Full HD (1920x1080).[9] The resolution may be set in the config files, but is only saved when it is set to "read-only". Note:[10]
    • The game does not support 2k+ resolutions properly.
    • Resolution settings are not applied at the start of the game and before the menu, in the video and to some effects.
